Continuum Loop Inc.
I am the founder and Principal Consultant of this boutique consulting group. We are all about helping save lives by making information move better. We work with first responders, emergency managers, public safety officials, and the military to ensure that technology improves operations.
OASIS (Volunteer)
OASIS – I am a volunteer member of OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) and I fulfil several roles there:
- Emergency Management Technical Committee – I am a member of the TC and generally maintain Voting Member status. The EM TC managed the various different Emergency Data Exchange Languange (EDXL) standards.
- Chair – Hospital AVailability Exchange (HAVE) 2.0 Standard – The I chair the EM HAVE Sub Committee, which is tasked to create a new version of the HAVE standard, which enables sharing of information about our hospitals and other health facilities for emergency management. HAVE is dear to my heart and though the effort is high I can see the long-term value in allowing our first responders, emergency managers, and other public safety officials to have the appropriate level of visilibility into the health system.
